The options for the look and feel of your packaging does not end with the stock that is selected. There are many options with finishing. We offer AQ coating on some items which gives a nice protective finish. Some other common options are to opt for reverse board which uses the rougher side of the stock for a rustic look. Either way you can add a UV coating that can be applied in a matte finish or a high-gloss finish for the lacquered look. This finish can also be spot applied as well so that part of your packaging has artwork in a clear shiny finish and parts are uncoated.
Most of our packaging can be done in any number of color combinations. From the simple black and white options, you can extend to, two, three or four color (CMYK combined to create full color imagery) and add an extra PMS (Pantone Matching System) color such as a metalic ink or flourecent ink to make your print POP.
Embossing produces an image that is raised above the surface of the medium its printed on . With debossing, the image is pressed into the folder and appears below the surface. Think of something that has a seal pressed into it.
Foil stamping is a special kind of printing procedure where heat, pressure, and a metallic paper (foil) is used to create different shiny designs and graphics on various materials. Foil stamping gives the stamped design a shiny and incredible look.
